Actress and “The Buzz” host KC Concepcion was saddened by co-host Kris Aquino’s decision to leave the weekly entertainment program.

Concepcion, who replaced Ruffa Gutierrez on the show, confessed that even before Aquino made the announcement on “SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon” she already knew about it.

Aquino gave a hint on “The Buzz” last Sunday that she was giving up the show. Concepcion said she asked Aquino on the same day, and the latter did not deny that she has to leave the program.

She said she respects Aquino’s decision especially since she is making the sacrifice for her family. “I admire her for being able to give up something that I know she loves.”

Aquino is giving up both SNN and “The Buzz” to help her brother, winning presidential candidate Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, fulfill his campaign promises.

Concepcion admitted that it would be hard to replace Aquino on the show.

As for Aquino’s replacement, Concepcion said she would love to work with ace comedianne Ai-Ai delas Alas.

She said: “I would love to work with Mommy Ai-Ai delas Alas. I think she would be a great addition to ‘The Buzz.'”

Meanwhile, Concepcion’s first talk show program, “Simply KC,” will air starting Monday.

“Kasama nila ako sa mga adventures nila so we get to know ‘yong guests through me and you get to know more of me through the guests,” she said. -Report from Marie Lozano, ABS-CBN News
