Host-comedian Pokwang is now having a hard time defending herself against online critics due to her stand to support Liberal Party presidential bet Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

Pokwang, who has been very active campaigning for Aquino, has been reacting to negative comments on her Twitter account.

The word war on Twitter between Pokwang and her Twitter followers, who are obviously anti-Aquino, started as the canvassing for the 2010 elections began.

sumtymeboy said: “@pokwang27 wasted vote… why noynoy… can’t stand kris as first lady.”

A tweeter even added that he will just laugh at the comedienne if her bet could not do anything for the country.

“@pokwang27 kung c Noynoy man ang manalo, sana may magawa sya. kung wala sya magiging silbi, tatawanan namin kayo,” gwapomaciado said.

“@pokwang27 kainin mO yung dilaw na ribbon ! gOodLuck sa pilipinas hahah!,” shaneamador said.

Pokwang stressed she did not start the war in Twitter adding that she was just trying to defend herself and her candidate.

The popular Wowowee co-host also appealed to her followers to unite and support whoever will win the election.

“Hindi tayo dapat nag aaway away! Khit sino pa ang manalo dapat nagkakaisa tayo! Tama na ang crab mentality please!!,” Pokwang said. -Source: ABS-CBNnews
