Primetime star Andi Eigenmann on Tuesday signed a 3-movie contract with Regal Films. She, however, clarified that she can also do movies with ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema since it’s a non-exclusive deal.  “But for now, I am proud to be a Regal baby!” she said.

This is the latest milestone for the star who emerged as the leading young actress now in show business based on the phenomenal ratings of her fantasy drama, “Agua Bendita.”

“Agua Bendita,” the heartwarming story of twins Agua and Bendita, topped the national TV ratings in March 2010, with an average rating of 39.4 percent, according to global media specialist TNS (Taylor Nelson Sofres).

Under her contract, Eigenmann is set to do a remake of the 80s hit “Temptation Island, “Shake, Rattle, & Roll,” and comedy movie “Madir Dearest.” Also in the works is the revival of “Problem Child,” the movie that launched her aunt, Cherie Gil.

Daughter of Drama Diva Jacklyn Jose, Eigenmann comes from a long line of acting greats, including grandparents Eddie Mesa and Rosemarie Gil, uncle Michael de Mesa, cousins Sid Lucero and Geoff Eigenmann, and father Mark Gil.
